About Me
- Ballet Solana Dance Group
- My name is Patty Maloy and I have a passion for Folklorico. It began at an early age of 4 years old when my mother enrolled me in a folklorico class with a teacher who shared her passion and from then on my folklorico story began and has grown into a life long hobby! I continued folklorico and many other genres of dance classes into my high school years where I attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, majoring in dance. After high school I joined a Folklorico Dance Company and enjoyed the many years I was able to continue to perform and share the rich culture of Mexico with the Los Angeles, CA community. My hopes are to do the same here in the state of Utah and enlighten my students with this folklorico passion that drives me to share a bit of my beautiful culture.
